Our Social Impact

Our 4 protocols

Beneficiaries are offered vocational training in sewing and fashion design on a programme simulating real work conditions. Classes take place 4days/week, 4h/day; total 244 hours – 3 months per level.

Each class comprises people of different skill bases and experience allowing for peer to peer mentoring through a pairing learning approach that we implement.

Upon graduation they obtain a Certification in Fashion and are referenced for employment in SOFFA and other partner’s.

Our training protocol includes the  following  programs:

  • Circular Fashion Tailoring program

> Textile Cutting and Assembly

> Pattern Making

  • Circular Fashion Design program
  • Refergon.com Job Matching program

Gender inclusive approach

The mixed gender environment helps change gender stereotype beliefs and paradigms by teaching men to appreciate women productivity and to offer a platform for collaboration. We support our female beneficiaries to become self-reliant and motivated and use their own resources to achieve their long-term goals.

We are also integrating unemployed Greeks in our classes to promote social integration of refugees and to overcome cultural barriers among natives and newcomers.
